baseball pitching and hitting coach
Casteel Lacy brings a lifelong passion for baseball, player development, and performance analysis to the game. A former collegiate baseball player, Casteel has continued to build his career around developing athletes through a combination of hands-on instruction, performance data, biomechanics, and individualized training.
Â
Casteel was the owner and operator of LPI Baseball in Fort Worth, Texas, where the program quickly grew under his leadership. Through LPI, he worked extensively with athletes on skill-specific development, mechanical efficiency, performance tracking, and injury-risk prevention.
Â
During his time with LPI, Casteel had the opportunity to train athletes who went on to play at the highest levels of the game, including a player who is now part of the Colorado Rockies organization in Major League Baseball.
Â
Casteel’s approach to player development is rooted in research and measurable performance. His areas of focus include player performance data, biomechanical analysis, injury-risk prevention, and skill-specific training, allowing him to develop individualized approaches based on each athlete’s mechanics, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Â
With experience as a player, owner, instructor, and performance-focused developer, Casteel brings a unique perspective to the game. His philosophy is centered on developing the complete athlete through preparation, proper mechanics, disciplined training, and a constant pursuit of improvement.
Â
Casteel is excited to be a part of the Sure Swing team and is grateful for the opportunity to continue sharing his knowledge, experience, and passion for the game with the next generation of players.
